The Hillsdale County Commissioners faced a fairly light agenda Tuesday morning – their first meeting following the General Election. Commissioner’s Chairman, Mark Wiley tells WCSR News the board adopted a revised COVID-19 plan. Wiley says nothing really changed under the new plan, but simply cleared up some wording following the Supreme Court’s ruling negating Executive Orders from Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Wiley says the updated version uses language adopted by MIOSHA (my-OH-Sha) and the Department of Health and Human Services on gathering limits and mask requirements. The other noteworthy item on the agenda from Tuesday morning’s meeting was the granted approval for the Drain Commission to purchase a mini excavator. The tool will help the Drain Commission maintain the many miles of drains and ditches in Hillsdale.
