Hillsdale City Council swore in their recently elected members during a special council meeting on Monday. In accordance with a local ordinance, Hillsdale City Council Members gathered on the first Monday following an election to swear in Tony Vear, Cindy Pratt, Bruce Sharp and Rob Socha. The four were elected to four year terms. Hillsdale City Clerk Katy Price tells WCSR news, they’ll have to wait a month before they get the chance to participate in a regular council meeting. Price says the meeting originally scheduled for November 15th has been cancelled due to a lack of business items. The next regularly scheduled council meeting is now Monday, December 7th.
