Recently, Hillsdale’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program lost their federal funding due to budget cuts.  This accounted for over fifty percent of their operating budget.  CASA provides advocates for foster children in and around Hillsdale and Jackson Counties, so they are a vital program that needs our help!

Join McKibbin Media Group’s WCSR 92.1 on Thursday, September 23rd from 6am to 6pm for our first ever Radiothon on 92.1FM with LIVE Facebook page streams!  The staff will be on hand all 12 hours to perform dares and activities, as well as play zany song requests.  We might even put our general manager, Dennis Worden, on the roof somewhere!  You’ll also get the chance to learn more about CASA throughout the day with testimonials from families, advocates, and local officials, as well as hear updates from CASA Director, Heather Upton.

THE MOST EXCITING NEWS:  The Hillsdale County Community Foundation is providing a matching grant up to $10,000!  So, with our goal of $10,000 in 12 hours, WE WANT TO SEE CASA END UP WITH $20,000 by the end of our Radiothon!
