An Allen Township man was handed a lengthy prison term, stemming from his arrest for drug possession a year-and-a-half ago.
52 year-old Scott Allen Mullins appeared for sentencing in Hillsdale County Circuit Court, Monday, on charges of delivery & manufacture of a controlled substance, operating a vehicle without a license and operating without insurance.
Mullins was arrested following a February 2021 traffic stop for an equipment violation. Authorities found a quantity of methamphetamine in his possession. He was sentenced to ten to twenty years in prison on the charges from the traffic stop.
He faces a September 10th sentencing hearing after he pled to additional drug charges in connection with a multi-agency drug raid that occurred earlier this year…Mullins has prior drug convictions that resulted in prison stays over the past two decades.
