Jonesville CIty officials are looking for public input as they work on a new Master Plan for the future of Carl Fast Park and Wright Street Park. They’re asking park users what they want to see in both facilities.
An open house is planned October 25th, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Wright Street Park.
Officials say the tennis courts have been removed, leaving a blank slate for some new amenities.
According to a press release issued today, a donor is offering additional land for a dog park.
A bandshell for outdoor performances is another idea that’s on the table, along with playground equipment at both Carl Fast Park and Wright Street Park.
City officials say “no idea is off limits!”
Along with the open house on the 25th, officials are seeking input on sidewalks and trails in the city. They’re asking residents to visit www.jonesville.org for a link to a two-minute survey.
Anyone with questions or concerns can contact City Hall at (517) 849-2104.
