An online fundraising account has been set up for a family that lost their home to a fire, Monday morning.
Hillsdale City Firefighters were called to the home of Tara and Chris Scott at 61 South Howell Street just before 5:00 am.
The Jonesville Fire Department assisted
Hillsdale Chief Scott Hephner told WCSR News the home is likely a total loss.
There’s no word on what caused the blaze, which apparently started in the rear of the home.
Hephner said the family was not home when the fire broke and there were no injuries reported.
