A Waldron man has been sentenced to two-to-ten years in prison for a string of break-ins at a Mosherville business last fall.

36-year-old Derrick Mosby appeared in Hillsdale County Circuit Court, Monday, where he was sentenced on burglary charges.

He pled guilty back in December.

Mosby was arrested in the investigation into break-ins at C-J’s party store, on Concord Road

Detectives with the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department say Mosby broke into the store three times between October 17th and October 27th. He stole cash, lottery tickets and tobacco products.

Along with the prison term, Mosby was ordered to pay nearly $8,000 in fines & restitution.
