The Hillsdale City Council, Monday, voted to continue their support of Domestic Harmony by approving a $6,000 annual contract for services.

Domestic Harmony provides a number of services to victims of domestic violence and their children, including crisis intervention, counseling, temporary shelter and housing assistance, along with information and referrals for legal and financial assistance.

The organization provides the services free of charge to Hillsdale County residents.

Historically the City’s contribution has been between $5,000 and $6,000 annually. This year’s contribution is unchanged from last year’s
