A Kinderhook man will be back in court, later this month, as he faces prosecution for criminal sexual conduct stemming from allegations of incidents that occurred several years ago.
52 year-old Daniel Remsing faces six counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st degree. The charges were issued following an investigation by Hillsdale City Police into incidents that occurred in 2015.
Remsing is scheduled for an April 17th pretrial on those charges, which carry a sentence of up to life in prison.
During their investigation, police turned up evidence of child pornography, involving a victim from the Lowell area, on Remsing’s phone.
43 year-old heather Wallace, of Lowell, faces several felony charges for recording two videos of a child and sending them to Remsing, who is also facing charges in that case.
Remsing remains lodged in the Hillsdale County Jail.
