Authorities are asking the public to  be on the lookout for a pickup truck that was stolen from the Hillsdale City Department of Public Services over the weekend.

The truck is a navy blue 2008 Chevy 2500 work truck with a #4 on the front fender. It is a single cab long bed with an amber beacon light on the top.

It has a City of Hillsdale crest on both driver and passenger side doors. Hillsdale Police Chief Scott Hephner told WCSR News, the truck was stolen from the DPS facility on Waterworks Drive sometime between the close of business Friday and opening today. 

Anyone with information in the theft is asked to call 9-1-1.
