Authorities say a number of vehicles were broken into during a rash of thefts in Waldron last weekend.
Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to more than fifteen complaints through the day on Sunday–
Sheriff Scott Hodshire told WCSR News, the thieves rummaged through several vehicles–They took whatever cash and valuables were left inside.
Hodshire said thieves forced their way into several vehicles–others had been left unlocked.
Most of the complaints came from the areas South Main Street, Center Street, Church Street, Marcus Street and Bruce Court.
Authorities are continuing their investigation of the incidents. They’re asking anyone with information in the thefts to contact the Sheriff’s Department at 437 7317.
