The Litchfield Regional Training Center (LRTC) is inviting the community to join them on Friday for their Student Racing Challenge. The event, which will take place from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, aims to showcase what the LRTC can offer to local businesses. The highlight of the day will be the final heats of the LRTC Student Racing Challenge, where race teams will compete to determine which team learned the most. In addition to the racing competition, the LRTC will also host an open house, featuring a local food truck, hands-on exercises and machinery demonstrations.
WCSR’s Andy Brown will broadcast on location.
The Student Racing Challenge is a summer camp aimed at encouraging middle and high school students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math. For more information, interested individuals can contact Matt Norris at (517) 877-2490.
