An Addison man has been sentenced to two years probation in connection with an altercation in Downtown HIllsdale earlier this year.

38 year-old Jacob Hannibal appeared in Hillsdale County Circuit Court, Monday, where he was sentenced on one count of Resisting & Obstructing Police and two counts of Assault & Battery in the January 21st incident.

He pled No Contest to the charges, during a hearing back in June.

Along with probation, he was ordered to pay just over $1,100 in fines, costs & restitution.

Authorities said Hannibal became unruly after he was kicked out of a downtown business.

He struggled with Hillsdale City Police officers who responded to the scene, causing minor injuries to the officers.
