Residents of North Adams are gearing up for the annual Heritage Day celebration.
The event will feature fun for the whole family .
The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with the parade lineup at the high school, followed by antique tractor and mini rod registration at the ball field. Car show registration will take place at the Bible Baptist Church at 10AM. The parade will be followed by a flag raising ceremony at the fire barn, and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the high school.
The antique tractor show and mini rod pulls will begin at 11:00, , along with the opening of the kids carnival rides and petting zoo.
There’s live music on the Main Stage and food trucks downtown all day.
The day’s activities include a cornhole tournament with sign-up at the Feed Bag, youth pedal pulls on main street, a cake walk, and a kids pie eating contest.
The car show trophies will be awarded at 6:00 PM, followed by a street dance featuring Mark Wilson & The Outlaws. The day will wrap up with fireworks at 10:00 pm
