An Osseo man is headed back to prison for a long time following his sentencing on drug charges earlier this week.

32 year-old Andrew LeFevre appeared in Hillsdale County Circuit Court Monday. He was sentenced to 40-months to 30 years behind bars, in connection with a plea to one count of possession with intent to deliver meth.

Lefevre was arrested in mid April, following a traffic stop.

Authorities said Lefevre had a large quantity of meth, along with other controlled substances and paraphernalia in his possession.

He was on parole for a previous drug charge at the time of his latest arrest.

Under Michigan law, Lefevre will complete his previous sentence before beginning the latest prison term.
