Hillsdale County DIstrict Court Judge Meghan Stiverson is expected to return to work Wednesday–Just two days after she was involved in a rollover traffic crash that sent her to the hospital.
Emergency responders were dispatched to Carleton Road at Lewis Street before 10:00 am, Monday.
Hillsdale City Police and Fire Chief Scott Hephner tells WCSR News, Stiverson was Eastbound in the curb lane on Carleton Road, when another motorist failed to yield at the intersection of Lewis Street, before colliding with Stiverson’s SUV.
Stiverson attempted to avoid the collision, which caused her vehicle to overturn.
Both drivers were taken to Hillsdale Hospital with Non-Life-Threatening injuries.
Circuit Court Judge Sara Lisnyai updated the Hillsdale County Commissioners during their meeting this morning.
She said Stiverson was treated and released–She is “bruised and sore” but she is planning to return to work Wednesday.
Hephner said the other driver was cited for failing to yield.
