Hudson Schools have canceled classes for today, due to potential threats made to the district.
In a post on social media this morning, district officials said rumors circulated earlier this week about a possible threat, which was later determined to be unfounded after a thorough investigation.
However, late Thursday evening, another threat report was received through the OKAY2SAY tip hotline.
As the latest report had not been fully investigated, school officials opted to err on the side of caution and cancel classes for today.
Parents and guardians will be contacted over the weekend with updates on the investigation and further information regarding school on Monday.
District officials said they’re taking the threats seriously and working to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the credibility of the latest threat report.
They’re urging anyone with information related to the threats to come forward and cooperate with law enforcement.
Officials at Sacred Heart School also canceled classes today, due to the uncertainty of the situation at Hudson Schools.
