Authorities are investigating a Thursday morning traffic crash that claimed the life of an Osseo teen.
Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Reading Road near Grass Lake Road around 10:40 AM.
They say 18 year-old Clayton Bowditch, was driving a 2010 Ford dump truck Westbound on Reading Road, when he lost control, left the road and struck a tree.
Bowditch was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for some time as the crash was investigated. Deputies were assisted by the Jefferson Township Fire Department and Hudson EMS.
The crash remains under investigation.
