The Hillsdale County Road Commission has announced that a stretch of Territorial Road will be closed starting the week of November 13th, for the removal and reconstruction of two bridges over the East and West branches of the St. Joe River.
The closure is expected to last until mid-summer of 2024.
A detour route will include M 49, South Hillsdale Road, and Camden Road.
The bridge reconstruction project aims to improve the safety and condition of the bridges, which have shown signs of deterioration over time..
Motorists are urged to plan their travel accordingly and allow for additional time due to the detour.
