The Hillsdale City Council voted to take the next step in creating a “Social District” downtown. Adams Township voters opted to recall two members of the township board in Tuesday’s special election.  The vote to recall Supervisor Mark Nichols and Clerk Stephanie Scott was nearly two-to-one in favor of their opponents.  With more than 63 percent of the votes, Township Trustee Randy Johnson defeated Nichols 394-to-222 to win the Supervisor’s seat. . Non-traditional nursing students can now apply for the second annual Maggie Fry Memorial Scholarship program. The program offers tuition assistance to non-traditional students pursuing a degree in nursing. Michigan’s Job Market Sees Continued Improvement
